General Rules
[/b][/u]1.) Change your username to the name of your character. Also, please have the first letter capitalized. If you are a vampire, you don't have to use a last name, but humans must.
2.) Show respect to fellow members. Don't make any comments that could be taken the wrong way.
3.) Anything the staff says, you must abide by. If you disagree with something, send a Personal Message (PM) to that staff member, or bring it to the attention of another staff member. We will give you the final ruling. Please don't start complaining to others about how unfair it is.
4.) Don't excessively use swear words. Swear words are allowed, but don't use them in abundance. It's not fun to role play with someone who swears every other word.
5.) For face claim, we will not be accepting reservations. You may apply for a face claim once you have finished your biography, though you don't have to already be sorted.
6.) Don't spam the c-box. This includes advertising for other sites. There is a board to advertise in.
7.) If you want to create multiple characters, create a different account for each. DO NOT HAVE ALL OF YOUR CHARACTERS ON THE SAME ACCOUNT! Be active if you are going to create another account. Also, PM one of the staff members with your alias, and the name of your new character. We will have a master list of everyone with multiple accounts and who they are, but no one except us will see it.
8.) Do not post in red, because the staff will correct posts using red. Also, please don't use the glow feature, because usually it is hard to read.
9.) No double posting. If you need to change/add something, then use the modify button. It's there for a reason.
10.) Please don't make the font extremely small. Nobody likes having to squint to try and read what you posted. Also, don't use any fonts that are hard to read.
11.) Signatures may not be excessively large. If they stretch the board, or make you have to scroll down, then it is too big. Your image may not be larger than 120000 pixels squared. (To find the square pixels, right click the image and go to properties. Then multiply the dimensions.) If you break this rule, staff will edit your signature and leave the link with a warning.
12.) Post in third person. This means you put "he/she" for your character, and not "I". Also, you must post in past or present tense, as in "he jumped" or "he jumps".
13.) Keep everything at a PG-13 level. If you want to be more detailed or think that it might offend anyone (this includes gay/lesbian/bisexual relationships) , everyone in the thread must agree. Then, the person who started the thread must add [R] to the title.
14.) No God-modding or power-playing. Basically, don't say what happens to any other person. If you intend on biting someone, you can say you leaned in, preparing to bite, but you cannot say that you actually bit them.
Regarding Biographies
[/b][/u]1.) You must have a completed biography and staff approved biography before you can roleplay anywhere. A staff member will message you about your biography once it has been completed, and the pm will contain whether your biography is approved or not. If the latter is the case, the staff member will explain why.
2.) Read all of the threads containing rules before you create a biography. This includes the information on vampires and districts, even if you plan on playing a human character. There may be some information that is useful.
3.) Remember that, the older the character, the more information you should have on them. If you want at any point in time to be a district leader, your profile should be detailed above and beyond the expectations stated. Try and make profiles as detailed as possible anyway.
4.) Use proper spelling and grammar. Also, be sure to separate the sentences into proper paragraphs. Biographies where sections are one gigantic paragraph instead of several average-sized paragraphs will be asked to be rewritten.
5.) Use the proper format. Do not use your own, or one from another site.
